The Presidential Debate, through tweets

Here’s a humorous look at Tuesday’s Presidential debate, as seen through a flock of tweets.  In the spirit of equal-opportunity mocking, no serious issues or responses have been included, and no one candidate looks sillier than the other.

Hey, we deserve it, after all the robo-calls, advertisements, and spin-doctors we’ve had to endure, right?

Enjoy!

Hope you got a kick out of these tweets.  How do you cope with the onslaught of politics everywhere you turn?  I’d love to hear from you!

Until next time,

LOL! Thanks Kathy, so funny! I just love people’s creativity and sense of humor. I think it is one of our most important evolutionary advantages. And speaking of apes…naw, not gonna go there…hehe.

I deal with the political onslaught by reading stuff like this, and avoiding everything else :-D. Nice collection of tweets, love it!

Thanks for the laughs. I think we should just cut to the chase and put lie detectors on both candidates for the next debate. Think how much time we’d save if they didn’t have to spend so much of it accusing one another of prevarication.

I’m so ready for this all to be behind us. No matter who wins there will be complaints, blaming, finger-pointing, name-calling. Nothing’s going to change except we’ll get our regular television viewing schedule back. And probably people wiill stop talking about Big Bird.

I was tweeting, too. It was a much more enjoyable way to experience the debate. @ChuckWendig had some fabulous #fakedebate tweets!

I would sure like to see President Obama stand up for gun control. Instead we got:

“I believe that it may soon be coming to a time when we can start a broader dialogue on the issue of whether assault weapons may possibly perhaps be considered for some minor consideration, but remember I AM A FIRM BELIEVER IN THE SECOND AMENDMENT, and of course there are many other sources of violence that must be addressed while addressing them in the context of addressing ….”

I understand why the President chooses to duck the issue for now. He wouldn’t be elected. But if you are elected, Mr. President, how about you do us proud, stand up to the crazies, and do something!

Thank you KB. This political season leaves me with little to laugh about so I am happy for any laugh I can get.
