Happy Friday, everyone! Can you believe that it’s less than a week before Halloween? Here’s something to get you in the mood: a house in Leesburg, Virginia, has been all rigged up with a Halloween light show, synchronized to the popular song “Gangnam Style.” According to the YouTube post, it took 8,500 lights and 250 channels of computer animation (whatever that means – sounds like a lot of work!).
Enjoy, and I’ll be back on Tuesday with some historical Halloween goodies for you!
Amazing, isn’t it? They must have mighty tolerant neighbors, too, LOL.
Until next time,
Kathy
Watched it with my kid, Kathy! I pointed to the house next door and said, “I wouldn’t want to live there, would you?” His response, “YES!” This is so cool, but I wonder about people who have that kind of time on their hands.
Happy Halloween! Thanks for sharing.
LOL, Julie! My kid loved it, too. I can’t begin to imagine the time involved. Thanks for the visit!
Love it!
Thanks, Loree!
I’ve seen these live with Christmas lights. I agree. I wouldn’t want to be the neighbor. After about an hour, I think violence might ensue 😀
I know. Great on YouTube, kinda sucky in real life. 😉
Love seeing these guys every year, absolutely incredible work! My favorite part is always watching the traffic drive by and wondering what the drivers have to be thinking. Thanks for sharing it with us, Kathy 🙂
I’ll have to check out their other stuff, Gene! Thanks so much for stopping by. 😀
There’s a house across town that does this for Christmas every year. The cars driving by is a constant. Could you imagine? They even have a radio station dedicated. I admire the work some people put into the holidays. I seem to get more and more lazy in my decorating with each passing year. I’d much rather enjoy someone else’s efforts. 😀 Thanks for sharing, Kathy.
Hahaha, glad I’m not the only one, Debra! 😉
I don’t know quite what to say, Kathy! One one hand, very clever. I assume the owners or their kids are computer geniuses. On the other, why is this song so popular?
Isn’t it funny what becomes popular? Like that song “Sexy and I Know It”…hard to predict, I guess. It has kind of grown on me, though!
Okay – that was cool for like thirty seconds. Wonder how often it plays?
Some people have waaaaaayyyy too much time on their hands. And probably too much extra cash.
Cool idea, but it would drive me – dare I say it – batty! (Ha)

Hard to get one’s mind around, in terms of time and money, isn’t it? Thanks for the visit, Patricia!
Love Halloween! But this huge storm is a comin’ our way! I wonder if the kids will be able to go out! They’d better or I’ll be *stuck* with a whole lot of candy.
I’m sure we’ll manage. Somehow. 🙂
