Time for our next recipe on the Holiday Yum blog hop!
Check out fab blogger, mom, and Kosher foodie Estee Lavitt and her mouth-watering recipe for Chanukah Baked Latkes. Yep, now you can have your latkes and bake them, too! Why wait for Chanukah? I just have to try these…
Looking for gifts for those 8 nights of Chanukah? Here’s a small gift idea, from Ellen DeGeneres. (Wait, I’ve been using man pens all these years?!)
Until next time,
Kathy
Love latkes–especially with applesauce. Yum! 🙂
And I still don’t get that pen thing–what was Bic thinking??
I know, right? And pink and purple…really?
I love that this is a baked not fried recipe 🙂
I’m with you, Marcy – it really adds to the appeal!
Great video! Pens for women…what WILL they think of next? 🙂
Can’t wait to try the recipe. 🙂
LOL, Kristy! Just when you think our society has gotten as high-tech as it can be, Bic comes up with a game-changer. So forward-thinking!
I love Ellen!
And I know what just went to the top of my Christmas list! Bic for Her!!
What a fun video clip. I’m still smiling.

Haha, thanks, Patricia! Ellen is great for that. 😀
Baked Latkes!? Love it! Can’t wait to try it.
Ooh, I know! Glad I have a family of
guinea pigsfood-tasters to try it out on. 😉LOL! That Ellen clip was just what I needed tonight, Kathy. Thanks for sharing the fun and making me laugh. Your recipe series ROCKS!
Thanks, August! It’s the fab peeps we have that make all the difference. So glad you enjoyed Ellen’s clip!
Wow …. very odd about the pens. The fact that they cost more DOES mean they’re for women. We already pay more for haircuts, clothes and toiletries!
LOL, Nancy – you are SO right! I wasn’t even paying attention to the price.
